The Albanian Riviera is one of the Mediterranean's last hidden coastlines. We drive south through Vlorë, climb the breathtaking Llogara Pass with the Ionian Sea suddenly opening below, and continue to the most beautiful beaches of Dhërmi, Jalë and Himarë. The distance is long for a single day — we usually recommend a multi-day trip with overnight stays, or a one-way transfer if you're continuing south.
Highlights
- Llogara Pass viewpoint
- Dhërmi, Drymades and Jalë beaches
- Himarë old town and fortress
- Optional swim & seaside lunch
Things to Do There
Pick what you fancy — your driver is flexible.
Stop at the Llogara Pass viewpoint
One of the most dramatic viewpoints in the Mediterranean — the Ionian Sea suddenly appears 1,000m below as you crest the pass.
Swim at Dhërmi & Drymades
Turquoise water, white pebble beaches, and laid-back beach bars — the postcard image of the Albanian Riviera.
Lunch on the seafront in Jalë or Himarë
Fresh seafood, grilled fish, and chilled local white wine right by the water.
What to Bring
If you have more time, ask us about extending this into a multi-day Riviera transfer including Ksamil and Butrint — we can drive each leg and you set your own pace.
